It’s Just Not Enough
Students see their teachers for around 30 minutes a week, once a week for about 40 weeks out of the year. Quite simply, that is not enough time to cover the multitude of scales, technique, songs, general knowledge, aural skills and theory knowledge to a sufficient degree. This causes knowledge gaps and students may not understand concepts.
This site is specifically for parents, teachers and students undergoing piano AMEB exams. It was, and is, inspired by our own music journey as students and now, as teachers.
While we aim to cover the course requirements for Piano, Piano for Leisure, Theory and Musicianship our site is suitable for any music student.
